I would like to show you the word CHAYIL, it is pretty similar to the word CHAY which means life. CHAYIL, ChYL spelled out in Hebrew, has the L letter added to ChY which is the word for Chay. So CHAY is the Letter Heth and the Letter Yod, while CHAYIL has one more letter which is the letter Lamed. Lamed is commonly known to represent a picture of a staff and to signify the idea of direction.
What does CHAYIL mean? Here is the Strong’s Dictionary entry for this word. I would like you to read it and see the entire reference.
Chayil H2428
חַיִל
chayil
khah'-yil
From H2342; probably a force, whether of men, means or other resources; an army, wealth, virtue, valor, strength: - able, activity, (+) army, band of men (soldiers), company, (great) forces, goods, host, might, power, riches, strength, strong, substance, train, (+) valiant (-ly), valour, virtuous (-ly), war, worthy (-ily).
What really brings my attention here is that it says “probably a force”. It says probably, but the author of this dictionary does not give more light to why it is so, but in a general sense the word points to this idea of force. CHAYIL is often translated as force and its synonym words. Though I need to add that force in a more delicate sense than brut force. It renders the idea of force with virtue and force with ability.
We now have two pieces of information about CHAYIL. One is that it shares the same letters as the word CHAY plus the letter Lamed which represents direction. The second piece is that CHAYIL is connected with the idea of some type of force or energy.
Given these two things I have concluded that CHAYIL could well stand for the modern words for LIFE FORCE ENERGY. I do not think this is a new concept, but rather an ancient one that hasn’t been always been well portrayed by the limitations of our linguists' knowledge about life and energy.
I have collected a few verses that use the word CHAYIL so you can see how it relates to the idea of LIFE FORCE ENERGY. Let us see:
Joe 2:22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
Exo 18:25 And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.
Est 8:11 Wherein the king granted the Jews which were in every city to gather themselves together, and to stand for their life, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the power of the people and province that would assault them, both little ones and women, and to take the spoil of them for a prey,
Rth 3:11 And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman.
I left the following verse for last because it has this old English word girth. Girth means to encircle. So we can imagine CHAYIL force encircling a person.
Psa 18:32 It is God that girdeth me with strength (CHAYIL), and maketh my way perfect.
You might have noticed in the Strong’s Dictionary definition for CHAYIL the following reference “from H2342”. This means CHAYIL has a root word or comes from another word. H2342 is the word CHYL, pronounced kheel. I intentionally put the pronunciation here because in this form it looks like the English word for wheel.
Well check this out, I will bring its meaning here:
A primitive root; properly to twist or whirl (in a circular or spiral manner)
Do you now see the connection to CHAYIL? CHYL which is the root word for CHAYIL, means in general twist or whirl. We are back to the idea of encircling (Remember the verse with the word girth?).
So there seems to be more evidence that the word CHAYIL is connected to the LIFE FORCE ENERGY concept.
How is that?
Well, you might not know, I haven't mentioned it here, but the concept of LIFE FORCE ENERGY is spiral and is commonly portrayed in a spiral or circular shape!
I believe this to be true for several reasons. The first one, and the only one I will explain here, is because the Pinwheel found in the APH region of the heart follows a spiral pattern. There is also the Pinwheel Galaxy that will help you see its spiral shape.
I would now point to the experience we have had with people who have had their Pinwheels restored. They begin experiencing most of the words described in the Strong's Dictionary definition of CHAYIL. I will post it again:
"...probably a force; whether of men, means or other resources; an army, wealth, virtue, valor, strength: - able, activity, army, band of men (soldiers), company, (great) forces, goods, host, might, power, riches, strength, strong, substance, train, valiant, valour, virtuous, war, worthy."
The result of having the Pinwheel in the APH region functioning correctly is vital and it helps reproduce the LIFE FORCE ENERGY or CHAYIL in our being! The CHAY revelation I could say is all about CHAYIL. Isnt it not? You women and men of valour?
