Did we make up the idea that the heart needs air to breathe? Certainly not. The proof? One year after the Chay Prayer was received, we discover more details about the connection between breath and heart in the New Testament.
The Chay Prayer revelation has one essential goal: to recover the needed breath of life in our heart to walk with our fundamental identity with the necessary courage. This idea was new to us in 2020 when the entire planet was dealing with the issue of breath, fear, and lockdowns. This revelation developed during this time, and today we are still confirming bits and pieces of it.
An excellent example of how breath affects the heart is found in Mathew 24:12, "And because lawlessness is increased, most people's love will become cold." NASB.
The phrase will become cold comes from the Greek verb Psuchó. It is a similar word to Psuché, word for soul, and means to breathe, blow, to make cool according to the Strong's Concordance.
Let us see the exact entry from the HELPS Word-studies dictionary:
5594 psýxō (originally, "to breathe out," cf. J. Thayer) – properly, "to blow, refresh with cool air" (Zod, Dict); (figuratively) "to breathe cool by blowing, to grow cold, 'spiritual energy blighted or chilled by a malign or poisonous wind' " (M. Vincent)
So when Jesus said people's love will become colder, the image we get is of a cold breeze going into the heart getting it cold. Though it doesn't say the cold breeze gets into the heart, it does imply that the heart is what gets colder.
This is extraordinary to see in the scriptures air or breath connected to the condition of the heart; and even being pointed out by Jesus Himself. In the Chay Prayer we ask Jesus to go to the heart and blow His breath of life once the Chay Pinwheel is set in its place. Different ministry sessions have shown us that cold air in the spirit, in the dimension of the heart was a concern. It wasn't how it was supposed to be. When restoration had been taken place in the spirit realm, we confirmed that the air of life would bring a warmth that wasn't there before and therefore changing the whole environment in the heart.
We are more convinced than ever that the Chay Pinwheel as a device in our heart that breathes the breath of life is more necessary than ever for this time. "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." Mathew 24:12 KJV. The proper antidote to a breathless heart is a heart breathing the warmth of God's breath and life.
"But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." Mathew 24:13 KJV. After understanding the Chay Prayer and its effects on our spiritual heart we realize that our guarantee to endure unto the end is by having the warmth of the breath of Jesus Christ in our heart; This means an encouraging heart.
One last note on the 2020 pandemia, breath and heart relationship:
The Spanish version from 1909 says, “Y por haberse multiplicado la maldad, la caridad de muchos se resfriará.” Reina Valera. This verse literally translated to English is saying that people's love will catch a cold! Yes, that it will get sick. Doesn't this remind you of the 2020 issue with breath? The same period that the Chay revelation came to us showing the importance of recovering the breath of God in our hearts.
A discouraged heart can quickly get a cold just as a body that doesn't have enough heat will get sick.
We invite you to do the mediation and prayer that recovers the breath of life in your heart. You need your heart to be encouraged. Take heart! And avoid staying breathless (discouraged). Get your device that breathes the air of God back to its place.
The scripture that says God breathed the breath of life into Adam is a principle not only an act that happened once. God wants to keep on breathing in you every day.
